After having played bingo for more than thirty years, a mother from Wishaw in the UK has won ₤16 000 in the National Bingo Game. This sixty two year old was playing at the Mecca Bingo Club in Kirk Road, where she has been a member for ten years and plays at least four times a week.

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008An East Kirkby bingo club has been raising church fund for the maintenance of the village hall and St. Nicholas Church for more than twenty five years. Last year they raised more than ₤1 000 and they have been doing this every year going back for a quarter of a century. There is a dedicated team of volunteers who hosts a bingo night that attracts a great deal of support from the village. The bingo night is held every Tuesday at 7:30pm. (more…)
UK National Bingo Game
Tuesday, May 6th, 2008The UK National Bingo game was started in June 1986 and is the second biggest computer controlled game, the first largest being the UK National Lottery. Effectively what happens is that every bingo club in the UK, and presently there are approximately 470 club participating, calls the same number in a particular game. It is defined as a game of multiple bingo and only three such games daily are allowed under UK Legislation. (more…)
