It appears that the new bingo programme on ITV is a big hit with the UK population. The game only launched a couple of weeks ago and player numbers are growing by the day. This doesn’t surprise me really as the game is free. What does surprise me though is that people are staying up so late at night to play the game. There is a top jackpot prize of ₤25 000 and I suppose it is this that is attracting players and making sure they have an afternoon nap so they can participate in the evening. The ₤25 000 can only be won on a full house in thirty-three calls so it is pretty steep odds, but not unattainable and you are able to win ₤1 000 on full houses for the three games played on the night.
There has already been a change in the presenters of the bingo programme, while when it first commenced we were seeing Melinda messenger, Michael Underwood and Nicola Dixon, we are now seeing Jayne Sharpe and Anthony Crank, and let’s hope that Anthonly can “Crank” things up a little. Bingo night live is on air shortly after midnight on a week night and runs for an hour. Bingo cards are downloadable from the ITV website, where you have to register in order to play and can be printed so that you can dab them in the old fashioned bingo way. Bingo games are interspersed by other quick games and this gives people more of a chance to win.
