Young, twenty two year old Nathan Jenkins has a holiday abroad planned with his girlfriend after he won a whopping ₤62 000 when playing bingo at the Mecca Club in Greyhound Way, Southend. This win came after Nathan had only played bingo for the fourth time. I would say that his luck was right on the nail!
He played bingo for the first time about a year ago when he went to the club with some friends and this month, on his lucky night, he returned to the club with his girlfriend of four years and some of her family. He won the National bingo prize of ₤60 000 the Regional of ₤1 877 and a house prize of ₤158 when he called full house in forty numbers.
He said that he really couldn’t believe it when they announced how much money he had won and neither could his girlfriend, it has taken a few days to sink in. Although he intends to save most of the money, a holiday abroad with his girlfriend is first on his agenda, he doesn’t quite know where yet, he just wants to go somewhere nice. I know that I could help him reach a decision, but perhaps he is best left to decide himself!
