The country’s largest supermarket chain Exito, had organised the game.
Last year, that is 2006, they managed to gather 70,080 participants to play and the last City to win this bingo accolade was Los Angeles. If the statistics are correct about the amount of UK bingo players playing the game annually, then I recon that us British could also take a stab at the title. After all we British are renowned for our love and passion for the game of bingo, perhaps we can ask Asda to sponsor the event.
It is not yet known what the count of the people present and play was yet but some of the winners who said that they had just come to the bingo event for fun went home with big smiles on their faces and 50 million pesos in their pockets.
