A gentleman bingo player from Wrexham, who does not want to be identified, after a night playing bingo, decided that it was time to go home. As he was taking his last steps out of the door of his local bingo club.
Fortunately for this winner, the club duty manager, Nick Sillet, spotted the gentleman as he was about to leave, and stopped him to show him the sheet naming the winners of the National bingo game, whose results had just been released.
The Duty Manager of the club said that he was just in time to catch the gentleman and when he showed him the results of the National bingo game he remained very cool, calm and collected, however he was completely delighted by the win and by the fact that they had made the effort to stop him from leaving.
This winner said the prize money was going to give him a wonderful start to the New Year. One thing is for certain, if you play bingo, don’t leave early, wait for the National bingo results first, because the show is never over until the fat lady sings!
